When the White House invited Stephen Colbert to speak at the annual White House Correspondants dinner ... what were they thinking? The comedian, in the guise of his Comedy Central faux-neocon persona, trashed the Bush administration, Fox News, and the War in Iraq. Best line: \"reality has a well-known liberal bias.\"

      Funny stuff, although the \"audition tape\" at the end was a little slow.

        It's about time someone tried to bring the WH in-crowd down to earth. But it probably won't make any difference. The said WH is full of closed minds, or flunkys who only say what they think Dubya wants to hear. He even twists legislation to what he wants, not what was intended. The the media says nothing!?!

            Notice how Bush didn't seem to understand Colbert was tearing him a new one until about a third of the way through?

            Bet Stephen doesn't get invited back next year.
