    One of my economics professors once remarked, 'Its interesting how rap is made by black people, who are 'singing' about how bad they've had it in their life, and how poor they are etc, and even though this 'music' is targetted towards other people that can associate with it, the only people that have the purchasing power to buy this music are the rich white kids who have no idea what the music is about.'
