C.K.: WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: This video is a full video of Saddam Hussein's execution. Viewer discretion is advised.

After a member reported this video that was submitted to Netscape, I've added WARNING to the title and this anchor commentary. yes it does, we are all so much freerererer now that he's gone...what a joke a sheite led, puppet gov't convicts and exectutes him...for the death of 148 *shites in 82, not for the gasing of 100,000s of people in the 80s, and what happens after the killing of saddam...70 sunnis are killed in bombings, this solves nothing, does nothing, was not even a legitimate trial, he should have been tried in the haugue...i think if u believe in capital punishment he definetly deserves it but the process was ridiculous, and whats more shocking but true is thatif he was alive and in power today the world would be a safer place, chew on that one for a minute.

So many questions...

Freedom to view 'the drop' which was not aired by the major media.

Rocks is obvioius.

Nothing proclaiming agreement for or against the invasion or occupation. Nothing about the involment of the various US Adminstrations' role in Iraqs' desent into social chaos and disorder. The history of which is known and availble to anyone who wishes top learn it(not the Faux News version of events).

Point is, that he was "executed" (basically by the US!, no matter what kind of charade was pulled of by them) for "crimes" commited at a time where he had the USA's FULL SUPPORT for his actions.

Point also is, that since the oil-greedy invasion more Americans have been killed than during the aledged attack on 9/11

Point also is, that since the invasion more people have died and suffered than during that "evil man's" entire reign.

So the questions are at least legit to ask:

1.) Maybe Saddam just knew better how to hold these wild and unruly Iraquies at bay than those who claim to know all - most of all to know whats best for others (thats sick!)

2.) Considdering how Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of this criminal tribe are treating those who oppse them (international kidnapping, disappearing in camps without trial, attorney or the likes, and God only knows how many already have died at their hands, when will the hanging of Bush & Co commence?

You are disgusting if that is your definition of freedom and the benefits of possessing it!

avatar
Reply

I merely posted two word.

I'm sure I'm disgusting for much more than that, but yes one of the benefits of freedom is the abilily to view this material and not having some holier-than thou type person decide for me what I can and cannot watch. I praise Netscape for not removing it.

At least they didn't show a female breast......

once again, the US teaches barbarism and misery when they invade, and this is the result--a barbaric execution that leads to a result completely opposite of what was intended. SH is not dead or in hell, by now he in the uterus of some unsuspecting woman and will be reborn. oh well, that is what everyone wanted, and that is what they will get. more pain and suffering on earth, a continuing cycle. the man was charismatic enough to rise to power, and this will continue.

avatar
Reply

((by now he('s) in the uterus of some unsuspecting woman and will be reborn.))

wow, that sounds like it would make a great horror movie, but if you're talking about reincarnation, he might be a bacterium in that uterus, but he won't be reborn as anything but leukycite waste matter.

Now if you're talking about a metaphysical 'rebirth', well, no two snowflakes are alike, and neither are any two dictators. At least there amy be a couple decade respite inbetween Iraqi tyrants.

avatar
Reply

Ha, he WILL be reborn, and not as a bacterium. If you want to prove reincarnation to yourself (which most people in the world believe in BTW, and which is ALSO in the bible, read it again without a church bias), ask any child age 1 to 4, maybe 5 about their past lives, where they lived, what they did and what their name was. Most of the time, they can tell you, and they will tell you about things that only an adult would have comprehension of. Try a preschool for the best sampling size. I have worked there and their answers are amazing. SH will be reborn in about 9 months, and that's pretty scary. Without any prision, without any therapy to understand what he did wrong, and he's very charismatic, he may very well rise again. How to create a Hitler, that's what this is.

What have you been smoking? You make as much sense as a crack addict.

The Bible? The Koran? Great bathroom reading and that is about it. In fact, I use the pages when I run out of T-P.

so true

Most people? Got any stats for that? Or is that just something you've decided to make up in order to put down those who don't believe that teaching?

avatar
Reply

Wow thats the extent of it? I expected some deficiency in their spirituality or a strict agnostic upbringing, but it seems I believe in reincarnation because I have a conscience with a few moral standards thrown in. I guess I should forget everything I have become connected to and spiritually felt to do the responsible thing and go with the circle of life belief thats in the Lion King. Come on,I know plenty of people that don't believe in life after death (in all its many forms)who take responsibility for their actions and vice versa. I would think that the person believing they had only one chance to get it right would put more emphasis on right and wrong, not the person that knew they would be back time after time.

Hopefully, there will be better video when he's executed the next time.

avatar
Reply

It is also possible that he will be the opposit of his former self,a crusader of good not evil and who are we to deny this possibility?????

avatar
Reply

no, see my answer above. he WILL be the same, he will be barbaric, bloodthirsty and ruthless--and charismatic. he has shown he has the capacity to rise to the top and kill thousands of people with no remorse. 60% of the world has dark and grey souls, and the only way to contain and manage their dark and evil tendencies is through therapy and prison so they learn there are repercussions to what they do. we have now skipped that step with him and his brothers. how very sad.

avatar
Reply

korangirl If you knew anything at all about reincarnation you would have not posted the above..

so where's Hitler and Mengele (sp?). Hitler shot himself before being brought to justice, and I'm not too sure what happened to Mengele. And don't try to say that one of them was Saddam reincarnated, they both died long after SH was born.

avatar
Reply

You really have no idea do you. Who are you to say how many people have dark souls etc. Where do you get your statistics spiritual or otherwise. I think I know where you pull them from!

By the way prisons and therapy do not teach people there are repercussions as a whole. How many reoffenders are there out there! Saddam was in one up till his execution and I never once heard of an apology or him reforming. Blah. If they're bad kill 'em and they will reincarnate back to that level of the ladder. When they learn their lesson in each stage of life maybe then they will advance to the next.

avatar
Reply

Agreed. To make matters worse, the executioners are Al Sadr militiamen!

In other words, this mockery of justice just becomes another chapter in the Iraq civil war, with the blessing of the Bush administration (who probably requested this hanging)

Pitiful.

And saddam was never tried for the most serious claim:the gassing of the Kurds in Halabjah. (who provided the chemicals????)

avatar
Reply

Saddam was not tried for the gassing of the Kurds because both the British and American governments were implicated in that crime and he would have been able to call witnesses from both governments in his defence.

The saddest fact, it seems to me, is that the one thing that has been proved by the Iraq debacle is that the country can only be governed by a ruthlesss dictator. Give them the vote and they set to murdering each other.

avatar
Reply

that's not exactly true. if you teach the people peace, love and a better way of life, they will reject the "ruthless dictator", instead we spend money on munitions, not teachers and books of peace for the people. how sad.

avatar
Reply

It's a nice sentiment, but I can't think of any example where people have "loved away" their reuthless dictator

avatar
avatar
Reply

No kidding. Wait, WE did...no....never mind, we kicked out the British. I think, for a while anyway, that the Native Americans tried that with us, and look where it got them....kicked all the way across the country and on to reservations.

avatar
Reply

Again... you speak stupid rubbish. You obviously do not know your facts as many here.

avatar
Reply

I cannot disagree with the fact that koranagirl sounds a bit nieve...yet I am interested in the "facts" so I was hoping you would give them to me since you are so well-informed.

avatar
Reply

Have you not heard of a military coup? The populace might reject and fight it, but the ruthless dictator (who probably has better finances and backing than the civlian populace) just kills those who stand in his way. Look what SH did. Look at some of those countries in Africa (Congo ring any bells?) that have been going through this for decades.

avatar
Reply

I thought the US handed Saddam over to the Iraqi people, and technically speaking, it was the Iraqi people who executed the late dictator.

They were given a choice, and they chose to hang him. This time of year where Muslims the world over are celebrating Eid al-Adha.

p.s.: I will NOT watch the full version of Saddam's hanging. It is inhumane.

avatar
Reply

I agree that it wasn't inhumane. If done correctly, the neck snaps, killing you instantly. Unfortunately, just the fact that he was defying us/them might make him a martyr. Also he might get a few bonus points for refusing the blindfold.

avatar
Reply

I didn't see any graphic content. That camera operator sucks. Anyway, like I said before ... Are we safer now? I guess terrorism is over. What are we gonna do about the other tyrants in the world who killed more people than Saddam?

avatar
Reply

This is what I say too, but I guess in the end its for the best. The trail was pretty iffy and so forth, but I think we all know this guy actually tortured and killed almost a million of his own countrymen, family members and clansmen.

Many people like to ignore that and focus on America or the injustice of the trail, but this guy was guilty. No one has yet to say, "yeah he was innocent. I would live in a country he rules anyday."

avatar
Reply

Hitler is already dead...And just maybe this has a little to do with justice...

avatar
Reply

The Iraqis executed Saddam. Maybe other countries ruled by dictators will be lucky enough to do the same.

P.S. Who said terrorism was over?

avatar
Reply

I didn't see anything graphic either. As far as him actually being hung, I saw a guy fall through the floor, but no actual hanging. Conspiracy theory buffs will love this one for sure.

avatar
Reply

A gruesome but necessary event.

avatar
Reply

Not as necessary as the impeachment of Bush and Cheney...yet of course we do not discuss these things because for impeachment to happen it requires that we as "American citizens" actually get off of our asses and do something about their illegal activity and indicting them for it and that is no fun because we cannot continue to sit our ever-widening asses at the computer and complain about events that should have technically never even happened. WOW! WE AMERICANS SHOULD BE PROUD...NO WONDER WE DON'T HAVE ANY PRIDE LEFT YOU GENIUSES!

avatar
Reply

The "articles of impeachment" need only pass by a simple majority vote in the House.

avatar
Reply

What makes you so sure thats going to happen? Because you WISH it into existence?
