In a related story, a colleague of Franklin Kearns, entomologist Louis Petersen, killed himself yesterday. He had become increasingly depressed during their latest collaboration, as Kearns subjects continually consumed his. He reportedly began marching in a circle, chanting to himself and stopping only to tie his shoe, shut the door, pick up sticks, close the gate, and then did it again. He then ran naked through a local park, grabbing food from surprised picnickers before retreating to a nearby cave. Authorities tried to calm him down, but when they finally entered the cave, they found him curled up in a corner, non-responsive with a can of Raid beside him.
