When did "some assembly required" come to mean "Prepare to forge your own brushed aluminum bike frame (frame mold and aluminum not included)."?

It's really very simple. Taking any convenient heavy-duty 5-axis CNC milling-machine, secure the cycle's spindle into the work stock and direct a strong stream of coolant onto the aluminum frame member in order to facilitate ultra thin-walled milling. Now program the CNC mill to produce a perfect helical parallax of less than 1 microsecond's variation from the vernal equinox. Then...

Oh well. It's pretty obvious from there. You get the drift, right?

      Happy cycling.

I've always felt the greatest feeling is in the giving of a gift, not recieving... From now on I'm going to extend my 'great feeling' to my daughter, by giving her the wonderful and joyous experience of assembling a bike from China ... I feel great already :))

Maybe her first gift should be a tool box.

Don't you just hate it when a certain bolt or nut or vital piece is missing? I think the guy at the factory is either high or having a laugh at our expense. Maybe both.
