Whew!!! Man if that were true. I'd be dead. My wife would kill me if she couldn't smoke. I think I'd have to rig up an anti smoke detector for her. LMAO
Hey I could become wealthy helping people smoke illegally. Nahhhh, not my style. I prefer to see people live and enjoy their lives. Smoking kills.

    Nothing against smokers. But I'm so much happier I don't smoke. I don't need to follow the advertisers idea of cool. LMAO

BTW , I know this off subject. But I don't have time to post a story for it. Thanks' for all those brave men who on June 6, 1944 landed on the Normandy beaches and started the end of WII.
D-Day June 6, 1944. Few remain but let not our memory fade.

Geez! Louise! I can't even get outta traffic in midtown Manhattan on a hope and a prayer,& now I have to go to some backwater/one horse town in Iowa???
I hope I don't get a speeding ticket on my excursion there. You know how we New Yawkahs like to hurry to get somewhere.

Well I was born in Iowa and can honestly say I am all for a smoking room there! But I would then have to go see my family every time I wanted a smoke. Maybe not! LOL

    I have one major complaint. Indoor public places have a right to ban smoking. However if a privately owned bar wants to allow their patrons to smoke, why the heii should government force them to not allow it.
    If health is to be forced on people through legislation, Many buildings would be deemed equally hazardous, pretty much any food you didn't grow yourself, and most every product (especially those coming from China) should also be banned.
    
    Funny how easily Americans today sacrifice freedom if it does not seem to intrude on them personally. But now legal precedents have been set that allow for massive intrusion into private lives. Remember this well- if you give an inch, they'll take a mile. Trust me on this, it's true.

Just a simple thought...
Ohio votes to ban smoking... Ohio Supreme Court refuses to hear case for allowing smoking in private membership clubs( VFW, American Legion, etc..) Sites reason that Ohio's people voted and they have no right to mess with the will of the people.
California votes to ban Gay marriages.. California court votes and says the will of the poeple don't matter overturns gay marriage ban..or the will of the people.
Interesting our courts could view people's rights so differently.

  It's simple. In Ohio, the Health Police won. They usually do. There's nobody screaming about second-hand queerness threatening to kill them, so the Health Police don't have an issue with gay marriage. ::sigh::

Great commentary on society, as usual by the Onion. Smoking in this country doesn't seem to have much of a future left. No doubt there are plenty of smokers who would move to Iowa, until they caught a whiff of their first feedlot full of pigs.
